Dang, I had hoped I’d be on your train. I guess I get another level of waiting since they repaired my rail car.Yep! Currently in Ohio, supposed to be in Chicago by the 23rd
Same here. Final destination is AZYep! Currently in Ohio, supposed to be in Chicago by the 23rd
Mine has been in OH since 11/15 and kept getting Chicago arrival pushed back. Last date was 11/22 and then changed to "offered to Foreign carrier for interchange yesterday" I think that means it was transferred to another carrier, but I have no other information. Normally the transfer happens in Chicago, but I think things are jammed up.Yep! Currently in Ohio, supposed to be in Chicago by the 23rd
Mine now says departed Cleveland and headed back to Willard, expected in Blue Island tomorrow at 7pm. So strange how they go back and fourth.Yep! Currently in Ohio, supposed to be in Chicago by the 23rd
well shit. Is there any way to tell where you are at after you’re offered to foreign pick up? Man what a cluster.Well, this is lovely. Just spoke with CSX. Apparently, most of these railcars did exactly what we were hoping was NOT going to happen when offered to foreign carrier. Because of when it was offered to the next railroad host, the cars did not get picked up for some reason. They do not know why yet, therefore, these cars are all being staged to go back to Willard Ohio. From there it’ll be sent out to the exchange carrier again and distributed either east, west or south. Everybody who’s waiting for a vehicle, is going to be waiting much longer, because they can’t even give us an indication of when the exchange may happen. They did say that it could be because it was a weekend and they were short staffed and had no crew or there was some other weather issues. At this point, it sounds like Ford probably just rushed us onto cars in order to show progress, and the railroad did not know what to do with them.
Yes and nowell shit. Is there any way to tell where you are at after you’re offered to foreign pick up? Man what a cluster.
I was wondering about that since they were offered where they normally don't make transfers. What a shit show.Well, this is lovely. Just spoke with CSX. Maybe it means you have made it to the yard in MN? Is the no weight info through the UP number or CSX?So if I call to track my rail car and it says “no wait (weight?)” what the hell does that mean?? It did say offered to foreign carrier at one point.
