I got scheduled during the 3/23 group and never got an email. I only found out because I used the support chat on the Ford site and asked.

Hopefully that was your VIN they gave. I had the Ford Chat do that for me a year ago. Ended up being another guy's order that was submitted under the same order number by my dealer. Had some excitement followed by disappointment.

Well if you are asking how it happened, I can tell you that I had ordered a 2 Door Base SAS last year in March 2022. Fast forward a few months and it's scheduled for production, but with the absolutely WRONG configuration that I had originally placed an order for. They basically modified my order without permission to fit their needs and sold it.

That is a good sign. When they gave me the VIN. The order had quite a few things wrong, which is what caused me to reach out to my dealer. The dealer was like yahhhhh that isn't your order. Sorry bout that.

So I would give your order number and VIN to your dealer to make sure it is the one COVP'd to you.

I wouldn't worry too much though. As much as I love this site, it is swirling with differing information and horror stories. Spending too much time on here just produces unnecessary worry and anxiety.

I just hung up with Ford. My Jan 2022 order is still in processing - nothing for me today. Urgh!
