Ford found out the hard way that building a designated heavy duty off-road vehicle is hard.

Attempting to offer aftermarket accessories through the manufacturer or through the dealer with a warranty is harder still.

And building a very capable off road vehicle, which very few buyers want, and something that is fun, looks rugged, is fast, and still can be used as a daily driver, where an overwhelming majority of these will be spending their 100% of their time is next to damn well near impossible.

A moderately modified 4Runner is probably the only thing on the market right now that can perform off road and on road very well.

I’m still curious if anyone figured out why the Badlands 2.7 can’t have the sound deadening headliner? I know most claimed it was a B&P error, but it still hasn’t been corrected.
I talked to ford reps in Moab, they said that they are looking into it and that they don't why its currently in the state its in. But they did say that it's common in the industry for the limitations like the roof rack problem.

SIAP, but, I’m not getting High or Lux so not worried about the front camera.

I’ve noticed that the winch cross bar on the photos of the actual Broncos looks lower profile than it appears in the B&P. I’m assuming that’s just some inaccuracies of the B&P, but, just wanting to make sure there is only one winch/bumper attachment from Ford.

I don’t want a guard that covers the “BRONCO” on the grill.

Any info?
from what i can tell, on b&p they look the same size up close?
Wait I'm confused now. There is a ton of threads with questions that don't need to have their own thread already. Dang it @Fordboi , you are turning this forum into the Matrix. race red pill or antimatter blue pill?
area 51 pill

this should only happen if you have selected for the roof rails... having the bimini mesh top is considered "top-off" by ford...

Will all trims with the Sasquatch be the same height? Or will that badlands be slightly higher?

IE, will a BD Sasquatch be the same height as a BL Sasquatch?

Why didn't ford design the manual transmission around a 6 cylinder instead of the 4, knowing everyone would want the 6.
first off, they didn't design the trans. Getrag did. second off, they wanted more people to buy the automatic because it will make them more money.

they will all be the same height because the suspension changes to a sas specific suspension.

Since OBX comes with running boards, what happens if you order it with the incompatible rock rail? Did they discount the rockrail price to offset the fact you won't get running boards?
I would bet the price of the rock rails that the answer to this is a hard "NO". I've built, and ordered quite a few Fords in my life, and have never known Ford (or any other manufacturer) be that benevolent. :)

My Badlands build on B&P gives me both, mine is a 2 door with standard interior package.
