GTFO, I think the Big Bend wheels look awesome.

Since you hate em, I will do you a favor and take them off your hands. I’ll mount em on my Base.
If ya weren't so far away I'd sell them to ya.

Sell them to me ?? But they are “FUGLY” ! You said so yourself. You must give them to me for free ! 😀
I don't believe in freebies!

And yes, they are FUGLY!! But since I'm paying for them, I'd sooner send them to the dumps then give them away for free! The way I see it, if someone wants the BB wheels so bad, they can buy a BB (or the wheels). I had to do it for Race Red 🤷‍♂️

Dealer just sent pic with my truck at dealer, swapped the factory tires with 33” KO2’s (nitto grapplers are all on back order), I haven’t driven it yet so can’t attest to rubbing etc, but dealer said fit no problem….

The next question is....

Since the Badlands has a 5/8" or 3/4" lift (yeah I'm not going to find the thread that mentions it) and fits 35's with removing the crash bars.... How many people will we see rocking 35's on the BB without a lift? People will try it I'm sure.
Isn't that unsafe? 🤷

I'm wishing the BB wheels would fit an Explorer.

No way the 33" tires are too much for the stock front axles. You rock crawlers can break anything. The rest of us will be fine 👍

Like others I expected this fit to work, but it is great to have confirmation. Especially since I already purchased these for my Base! 285-75-16
When is your base being built? I'd love to hear how this works before I order tires haha. I'm a 12 July build week.

Yes, but you're still 0.67 inch less lift than the Badlands on 33" tires. See tables 3 and 4 at the link for additional information.

Still catching up here....just want to note, the fella you qouted ( @GrassKiller )is looking at 16's for his base , 285/75-16 is still a 33 .... (32.6ish)...
....BUT ... it will be mongo wide for that stock Base wheel. Not that I'm not considering it either, LOL.
I saw the 285/75 and thought damn, thats a stretch....33.8" .... but only on the 17" wheels.

SO, if op is getting his 285/70-17 in OK on his OBX , then it SHOULD work on the Base... so the theory goes.
What I haven't read yet is if it will rub anywhere in full stuff and lock, etc etc.

Ok all you 0 and +30 offsetters(me), zoom in on the pics below and imagine the tires pushed out 1" (30mm offset) or 2 inches (0 offset).

Also, imagine if you will, the tire pushing up several inches just hopping a simple street curb...every day at the end of your drive way.
Maybe they'll clear...maybe not.

Those crash bars on this +55 set up is tight though! Looks like it will work, but push the tires out another inch with +30 wheels ..... hmm , let alone 0 offset. What else will get rubbed?

I'd be interested in buying your fugly wheels if I end up with a base. I've been trying to change my order to a BB but zero response from the dealer. Honestly believe they are trying to get people to walk from orders and sell the cars with ADM.

Isn't that unsafe? 🤷

Is what unsafe? Removing the crash bars?
I plan to ditch mine as soon as I get it. Taller tires. Remove the top and doors. Is that safe?
