You don't need to say "question," before asking a question. The punctuation, at the end of the sentence, informs the reader that you are asking a question.
Thank you for that. You seem to be a pleasurable person to be around.

Anyone have a picture of the soft top bracket spot where the felt tape should go to help stop this from happening? I haven't put my top down yet all the way.

Note to self: put a 1.5 X 4 inch piece of clear plastic tape on that spot when I get mine.
It will easily cut through clear tape in a second. You need something stronger. I'd put a cel phone protector or other PPF skin on it.

Also, don't forget how much these will rub and even dent (I'd bet) when we take these wheeling offroad. Body flex would rub either side, centered or not on a real trail. MIC all the way. I played around with a soft top yesterday. It was ok. You lose all rear vision when its down. One thing I'm not hearing on this forum is that you can remove just the side windows on the soft top, the wavy ones. That I liked. Otherwise, eh.

Get the dealer to take care of that quick before oxidation or rust starts. This vehicle is having so many issues killing the hype wtf
it is good that the hype is being killed, or at least wounded.

People have put this vehicle so high on a pedestal that even minor, fixable and addressable issues, are causing disproportionate reactions.

Could this be due to when the top is being pulled up by, it's being pulled to one side? If so a temporary cushion could be used for when top is going up or down. I'd still use PPF as a backup.

No. Its the roof articulation just rubbing all the time.
