Has anyone had a top replaced at the dealer? One of the delivered 1.0s.

If you did, was the WHOLE roof replaced or just the front/mid panels?

Ford will replace as little as possible... I am going to doubt that they replaced the whole thing.

So the bar has been moved now? We can’t expect decent quality in a $40-62k vehicle? The top on my gladiator is 100% problem free- and it’s painted. I’m a huge fan of the bronco (that’s why I’ve ordered one), but I’m not going to move the bar on basic quality just because it’s a cool vehicle.

Fingers crossed it was a short time period of QC misses and Ford/dealers resolve it quickly... will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Some RTV sealant could actually be a pretty effective way to repair it, and could be done at home or dealerships. A bit jank but otherwise going to be super costly and a huge waste if all of these tops need to be fully replaced AGAIN.

TL;DR, but I'd be cautious about making home repairs lest you void the warranty.

You get the award for the dumbest post I have ever read online in my life. It’s a roof, all vehicles have them and they are required to not leak or disintegrate. That’s not exclusive to 100K vehicles.
