Trim? No.

Package? Absolutely.

I also don’t think cold weather focused features should have been locked behind the Medium or Lux packages.

Interesting.

First thing that comes to mind when I hear black diamond though is a difficult ski trail

Rumor is, even the Ford people were shocked at how hot the MGV got in Phoenix on one of their ride along events.

I need cooled seats way more than I need a wash-out interior.

But I also was disappointed that Ford didn't offer a "Cold Weather Package" on all trims like Jeep does.🙁

The most stupid thing is that, you can't have remote start on a Manual, so you can't start the car and warm it up from inside your house, so you need heated seats even more than someone with the auto tranny. But Ford decided that if you can't afford an extra 10k to move up a few trim levels, you have to forget your beloved manual, or forget the Mid-Package.😡
Ha yes anyone that’s sat on a dark boat or golf cart seat after an hour in the sun has yelped like a puppy

This is what my build says

Build and price is wrong, sadly.
For MY2021 it was showing that the Big Bend would have heated seats if you chose the sand-color seats instead of gray.😞

The order guide is official, Build and Price is not, and Ford has disclaimers saying that.😖

That’s from my tracker not from build and price. I guess I’ll be disappointed when she’s built tomorrow lol

How?? You were able to order it that way?
It's a mis-print from the build tracker pages.
The Base even showed seat heaters ... mine did too....had a lot of people pumped for awhile!
In the end ... no Mid = no heated seats.
I'm trying to find where I might have posted a screen shot.
It's a known error.

But that screen shot also seems to say you're getting 50/50 split rear seats and 40/60 split seats.🤷‍♀️

I think the black diamond is the cold weather model. You got a locker, rubber floors, vinyl seats, 4A, and fair all weather tires. If you get mid you got heated seats and better climate control. Anything other than a block heater and ice tires, is just not what real "John Bronco" types are about.
