Saw one of those “tolerance challenge” posts recently and thought we Bronco owners should have our own take on it. Let’s see how far you make it before losing your mind. Just for fun, guys.

Level 1:
A crack appears on your roof.

Level 2:
Other vehicle owners laugh at your Bronco.

Level 3:
Filling up the gas tank while your wallet cries in silence.

Level 4:
Getting roasted by other Bronco owners for not building it “the right way.”

Level 5:
Your Bronco starts making a weird noise… and you can’t figure out where it’s coming from.

Level 6:
You find out your Bronco is now worth way less than what you bought it for.

Level 7:
You realize the dealership totally played you.

Level 8:
Something breaks in the middle of nowhere on the trail.

So… which level would completely break you? And if none of these bother you, then congratulations — your Bronco is definitely your true love. But honestly, what’s a few problems here and there? We all know we’re still gonna keep spoiling them anyway lol.

Out of the gate. Soft top has no cracks. The rest don’t phase me. Love this vehicle. Plan on keeping it into retirement. Already spinning ideas in my brain how to bring it down to gen 1 as technology and plastic parts break. Or parts become hard to find or cost prohibitive. Or it last to the age in my life I no longer care about vehicles. Hitting 60 soon.

Hmmm, maybe I'm just too old for this game...

Level 1: Found my first cracks 6 days after warranty expired, Ford told me to go fuck myself. Expecting them to care was my error.

Level 2: I built it for my needs, don't care what your opinion is.

Level 3: No matter which party is in charge, they drain the wallets of regular working folk while incessantly crying about the other side, nothing new here.

Level 4: *See level 2

Level 5: Be patient, something will eventually fail.

Level 6: ALL vehicls are depreciating assets.

Level 7: Did you really think the salesmen cared about you... I bet you think strippers like you too.

Level 8: Used to happen all the time in the days before cell phones, somehow we survived.

You left out the "manual transmission scraping noise". I understand not all have the 7mt, but just wanted to mention it. I replaced my first 7mt at about 37k. The noise is not as brutal in my second one, and I'm at about 60k on this one. I have the extended warranty which expires at 125k, I'll see where the 7mt noise is then.

Other than that little rattles and noises do bug me, so I try to track those down. Of course adding molle panels, accessories, camping gear, etc just adds to the insanity.

My end time would be the same with any vehicle, if random stuff starts breaking on a regular basis or a major issue appears.
If my Bronco treats me like all my previous Fords, I will have 200k or 20 plus years with no major issue. We shall see.

^ This!

Although I haven't experienced any cracks.... YET, on my top, I know if and when it happens, if it's out of warranty, I'll be SOL. No different than any other brand.

Well, that's with any vehicle except a very select few.

You realize the dealership totally played you.
Nope. I do not get played by dealers; I play them. You can do that with an exceptional credit score.
