I never had to fill out a COVP, however, I did have a larger deposit so from reading different threads it seems to be dealer specific. I spoke with Ford yesterday, confirmed my priority code at 10 and they informed me if the order is in with a priority code other than 99, the order is in regardless of COVP. Just FYI....

If you do not have a COVP your dealership can and may sell your vehicle to som else. Be careful the COVP is your ID along with your order so they can’t give your order away.

That's what I am not sure about. All other trim renderings + SAS have the black fenders.

Once the 2023 Build page came online it had OBX renderings as body colored.

Not necessarily.

If you do not have a COVP your dealership can and may sell your vehicle to som else. Be careful the COVP is your ID along with your order so they can’t give your order away.

A '23 will not be built without a COVP approval. You can have a priority code 10 on your order but it's not going anywhere without it. The dealer can print a confirmation for you with your COVP tracking and authorization number on it. I would definitely make sure that is done.

COVP PROCESS

All carry-over orders and converted reservations are subject to COVP. This is a additional verification process that was used with the Maverick last year and a few times in the past with Ford’s other vehicle. It requires your dealer to submit additional paperwork and a copy of your driver’s license to Ford for verification. If this is not done your order will not be eligible for build.

A reminder to those of us who are new to the scheduling world that they schedule to the week, not the day. If you wipe away the tears of happiness and re-read the email it will say something like "the week of November 14th" not the day of. Day scheduling will come later, I believe when the window sticker gets generated. Another milestone to celebrate.

Got my scheduled for production email today. Ironically I’m at the Bronco Off Roadeo in New Hampshire lol. Well actually it’s tomorrow. 2 door OBX, velocity blue. I’m a January 2021 reservation holder, March 2021 order.

yes i got my email today amazed and a little dazed it's finally happening. this will not be a sports mom or grocery getter SUV for us as those days are behind me. I am trying not to dwell that I'll not be getting the cyberorange. that was gonna be an exciting and fun look to me for my toy.
