Regarding the soft top alignment - my top was not seated properly. I believe it’s supposed to sit flush on top this pin sticking out. Mine was not seated flush on either side of the top. Definitely worth checking your top alignment bolts even if you didn’t buy this product.

Also wanted to say - there’s certainly a lot of pandering to venders that we’re all aware of, but from the jump on this issue it was pretty clear @IAG Performance wasn’t totally at fault here. The tops were slapped on @ factory and mis-aligned (in most cases I’d bet), so check your alignment pins and then thank IAG for their support and responsiveness. They are “making us whole” for an issue for which they are not fully to blame. End of the day, it’s a paint scratch on a vehicle that some will try and drive up a mountain, jump off a dune, or ford a river (pun intended). Small potatoes.

The paint seems to be an easy-ish fix but the potential overstretch would be a greater concern.

Man, I really wanted this product but am likely to wait it out. Great concept but possibly more variables in play than was realized.

Are you aware if there's any guidance in the manual or elsewhere for adjusting other points of the soft top, such as the front / middle?

I installed the struts last Sunday. Put the top completely down and went for a twenty minute drive. Kept hearing a tapping sound that was new. I had my son drive and I went in the back seat to listen for and locate the new rattle. Once home, we put the top up and my son saw the driver's side roll bar had that tell tale sign of rubbing. So we got hit by it right away and twenty minutes was enough to rub the paint off. I received the email from IAG before I could reach out to them. New part is estimated in 5 to 7 business days per an email received today.

When we installed the struts we came across some things they down tell you during the install. Items to look out for and the placement for the washer, IMO, is wrong.

They are sending replacement brackets to any previous buyers which is a good thing. But so far clearance isn't an issue for ours after a few adjustments.

Just received my bracket as well....regardless of what this mod does or does not do....IAG gets a huge thumbs up from me...will definitely purchase from and support any company that acts as quick and professional as IAG....I look forward to getting more products from them.....if only I had my damn bronco to put it on!

This is absolutely how a company should deal with this kind of issue. Once the issue was discovered, proactively reaching out to all customers, and not just the ones complaining.
Nothing but highest praise for IAG after this.
