Who would spend the money on a new Bronco, and an auto transmission, but stick with the 2.3L? At the point of buying this luxury off-roader, the price is already jaw-dropping. I don't think the mileage is going to be different enough to say "I wanted to save gas money".

I guess some people wanted to use the $1800 on new rims/tires/etc maybe?
Well me for instance:

Save $1800
Save weight
Reduce complexity for self service
270 hp is more than anything I've owned (except my motorhome)

I believe The Great State of Oregon is around #27 in population with around 4 million and is #18 on this list.
Being in the West with outstanding outdoor opportunities the Jeep market penetration is high. Ford always said that those areas would be favored.

I remember being a kid and thinking, all the old guys have the sweetest vehicles and they're too old to enjoy them. Now I'm retired, and Hell yeah, I can afford the sweet rides and will definitely enjoy them.
Definitely. This is a project I'm working on๐Ÿ˜

Looking Good. Mine is a 1969 Cougar Convertible. Looks stock with Champagne paint, white top and interior. Have a Dart Windsor block bored and stroked to 427 with all the goodies. 450hp and 500 lbs tq.

I was expecting a bigger uptake for the manual. Also, you guys are spending some money! I opted for the Big Bend, manual, signature LEDs, aux switches and rock rails with standard package. Decided to go cheap!
If you could get a MT with the 2.7L V6 that number would have been much different.

There are parts of the country where making well over $100k is considered low income.
Very true. Bay Area you can't touch a house for under $800K.

There is plenty of people leaving the Sanfriso area for various reasons. Staying and trying to afford the new Bronco is probably a no go for the " average bay area person. "

Many of us are waiting for SASMAN, and a few of us are holding out for 22/23 for manual V6/V8 options, as well as the warthog. Of those sitting on the fence, some will get whatever the most powerful manual option available is... while a few will be persuaded to the dark side to chase HP via fords bigger V6s/v8s that probably won't support the manual.

I don't expect the manual to grow over the next few years, but I do think it will surprise by remaining steady, finally dropping once the warthog and other specialty models have come and gone.

Is that a Backdraft or early FFR? The grill opening looks Backdraft but the rolls bars say Factory Five.

I thought AMB should be represented with a color MUCH closer to black.....but I like this version too!
It looks like Alto Blue!

Almost every option I'm getting is the least popular/lowest order rate, with the exception of Sasquatch and Base trim (F.E. and Big Bend being lower).
