I’ve been planning on 315/70/17 tires for a long time but a few people on here have been advocating for the 35/11.5/17. I’m curious what people’s thoughts are on this. If I’m honest my Bronco won’t be doing much, if any, rock crawling but I also don’t want pizza cutters.

If people have any pictures of their 11.5” tires on their rigs I’d love to see them.

Thanks for any thoughts/pictures.

Looks and lots of folks want 12.50. Myself I prefer a 10.50 or 11.50. Plenty of width and for my 4 wheeling better as I don’t run over as many rocks, they “dig” better in snow, etc. Also a wider tire typically uses more fuel due to rolling resistence.

Obviously a personal decision and wheeling styles vary.

I’m interested in this too. Have Badlands with 33s and would like the lift and look of 35s but not the poke. Some poke is fine but the #1 reason I stayed with 33s is that I didn’t want the wider stance for 99% of my usage (around town). 10.5 or 11.5 seem like ideal options, but I’ve only read one post about how it came out for Toyos.

The biggest problem I see with narrower tires is the price and options. Seems you can get better deals and a larger variety in wider sizes. I want to run a 34x10.5 or 11.5. But there isn't much under like $360 a tire... Probably going with MT Baja's.

35X11.50s are not pizza cutters. As far as looks, yeah, they don’t have mall cred, but they work, and that’s why many people choose them.

Here are some pics of Toyo ATIII, 285/75/18s. (18x9 wheel with +12 Offset) These are taller than the Sasquatch Tires and more narrow. (35x11.50) I like the look as they don't stick out of the Fender Flares.

The 285-75-17 is a great option. I nearly did non SAS and this tire but swayed to SAS because of another 1/2-3/4” of lift, better shocks AND 4.7 differentials. I ll run the 315 s but when it’s tire time most likely will go to 35-11.5-17 or 35-10.5-17 …. Will depend on choices available at that time. (Would like to stay with a C load range at that time too)

I did 11.5 and only went 33.6”, used 0 offset. I like a little tire outside the wheel flare. Same thing on OBX and BB.
