Not sure I'll ever leave an oil change up to the dealer again, too easy to do myself and I can pick the oil. I brought my Z06 to the Chevy dealer for my 1st free oil change, I waited and watched these clowns drag the car on the lift, heard him test drive it like he stole it behind the dealership, then give it back to me with handprints on the door and console. Never again, and Ford dealerships are no better. How common is this?
I’ve been in Ford service for 25 years and I’ve never seen anything even remotely like this but yes it is unfortunately common/normal this year. How common is this?
Every time I read a post like this it just reminds me of how ridiculously close everything is in other states compared to Texas. 45 minutes is almost how long it takes me to get to the closest dealerships around.I had to find a dealer 45 minutes away with an appointment within a week, then it took 3 weeks to get parts to fix it. All the travel back and forth was at my own expense.
Made an appointment yesterday and got in the next day. Used Ford Pass Points. Took a little over 2 hours. How common is this?
Same living in North Dakota. My closest dealer Is an hour and a half away. Tomorrow morning I’m driving 3 hours one way to a different dealer I ordered my Bronco through, to go pick it up.Every time I read a post like this it just reminds me of how ridiculously close everything is in other states compared to Texas. 45 minutes is almost how long it takes me to get to the closest dealerships around.
I don’t think it’s to common maybe your dealership is short handed not enough staff I am getting my first oil change as I type this and the tires rotated also getting them to look into the parking brake fault message I got randomly twice since getting my bronco in decemberHow common is this?
