Happy 4th of July everyone! And what a way to start it! I think my engine has finally failed today
Might be the first engine to fail with over 10k miles?
Service is closed today but I can keep my post updated with what the problem actually is and what’s going to happen with it.

Good news for me. Three weeks ago, once the 30 day point passed, I applied to Ford to have them buy my Bronco back under the California Lemon Law. Last week I got close to full price offer (including $10k deal markup and taxes and fees) from Ford. I am going to take the money. The loaner vehicle that I got from Enterprise has been a Toyota Tacoma which has impressed me; I think I will lease one and take some of the refunded money to fund my project to build a Factory Five Racing Daytona 65. It's been an interesting experience! . I am also helping friend weld together new body panels to build a Baja Bronco out of his 67 rust bucket, so my involvement in Broncos continues. Thanks to you on this forum for the camaraderie, support, and shared knowledge

Thanks. When I saw the Mustang it was in traffic at speed meaning we were all at 70mph and I was using ACC to hold the following distance between myself and the Mustang. I was thinking he was doing the same with the car in front thus making his ACC actively brake to maintain his own distance. Enough traffic so it was a long line but everyone was behaving so no real accordion effect. Just curious and probably can only be replicated when following in traffic.

Better chance hitting the lottery then having one of these engines right now but I understand the anxiety. In the end,its mechanical and can /will break. No sense worrying about what hasnt happened. Life is too short.

Worst part....imploded with OVER 10,000 miles. Unless Ford gets off the pot, this will be a lifetime worry

Ponder this. BEV’s use regenerative breaking. If the car in front of the MachE was slowing, regen would kick in to recover energy rather than actually breaking. It could be by design that the Mach-E activates the brakelight every time it is regenerating and that episode may only last an instant but trips again intermittently from your viewpoint. I think if it is doing this it is a flaw in the design because it is annoying.

Well, that is disappointing. Your valve cover looks speckled white like mine... did you also have the exploding coolant hose issue early on?
