It was freezing and I'd been stuck for 2.5 hours when it got towed off, so no sticker. But Lucchese looked up the info for me off the VIN:
engine ser# EF06A 21207 130993
- engine built July 26
I am very sorry this FoMoCo failure had presented in your new Bronco. It should be sobering to Ford that you were stranded in harsh weather conditions. I hope everyone caught in this failure in your Bronco are ok. Ford must to do something soon to provide security and piece of mind for their Bronco customers.

Nice! Same day as me and 169 before me!

EF06A 21207 131162 here

Just hit 1000 miles, so hopefully I have some time?
Mine was fairly delayed compared to most. Usually they happen around 2500 miles, mine happened at just under 7k.
Hopefully yours will never have the issue.

If you read through all the BS conversations here like I did for the few posts that matter, knock on wood. 21211 gang has been good.
Is it possible that the assembly lines grabbed valves from different sources on different days (even from one day to the next in the same stretch/week)? How many are in our 21211 gang?

Whether it's related to the engine problem or not, is anyone else startled by all these reports of low coolant levels in the first few thousand miles of a new vehicle? I think I'm going to be more paranoid about that than about sudden valve failure.
I'm not suprised. I don't have much experience w/2.7 yet, but every later model Ford ecoboost i drain the coolant on takes forever to fully burp out. I've gotten to the point where I tell customers to stop back in a week so I can top it off. That way they don't freak out!

I guess the NHTSA has only had 13 reported. Everyone needs to. I just filed my report.
Good on you!

Candidly, it's shocking that so many owners with bad engines are unwilling to file a report with NHTSA. While I understand their "immediate" problem is resolved because they're getting a new engine, how about doing the rest of us 2021 2.7L owners a service and taking the 10 minutes to file a NHTSA complaint.

Let's be real, most people can't spell NHTSA let alone know who that is.

Every time my wife calls me during the day, Im anticipating her telling me that her Bronco blew up and I need to come get her. Doesnt keep me up at night, but it stays in the back of my mind.

In the 21211 gang, 6100 miles.

I'm convinced certain days got certain heads with good/normal valves. Other days, not so lucky...21224 is a bad day. It's still possible some heads on 21224 we're good, just not all.
