Geno, I reserved a 4 door on Oct. 10th with Granger, and I'm number 774 of over 1000 reservations if that helps answer your question. We're way down the line.I'm another stubborn 2-door reservation holder. I'm now starting to regret my canceled second-week reservation for an Oct.1 reservation. I can't do anything about it now.
Just for the sake of raising my blood pressure — when do guys think we Oct reservation holders will see an MY22 2-Door. I have no idea how many Granger has in the October reservation corral - but it's a good bit.
My biggest angst is when to sell my Mustang -my current offers are sky-high - but my wife won't share her Subaru.
Yeah, the same year you get your 22Last year I thought, oh man this is going to be a rare vehicle etc. So I reserved too late (1 week). Those bad batch 2drs actually have it pretty good, they at least will get a 21.
RIP 2dr 2021 Broncos
Is that a FE? If not, when was your reservation?I had no idea I was lucky as I am to have received mine, feels like I have a unicorn. Though mine has had some issues and will be getting a new top at least I have it.
FE, first night reservation, first res at my dealer. Is that a FE? If not, when was your reservation?
You act like they’re selling 10 to 1 4 dr to 2 dr, when the take rate was around a 60/40 split. There’s not a huge gap between them.We can only speculate, but my money is on Ford didn't want to design/produce a second top option for what was likely (this is reflected in the order numbers we know) a much lower selling bodystyle.
So like other said, it was a cost saving decision.
Seriously. If the choice is between a 4dr soft top or no Bronco, I choose no Bronco. I stopped opening delivery threads because I'm tired of seeing these abominations in every one of them. Let's take an already bad looking stretched limo and throw a floppy sagging bag on the back.We sure did lose big.
Changing to a 4 door soft top just get it sooner would be an absolutely awful choice IMO.
For the first year, but once us enthusiast have our Broncos the numbers will for sure mirror Jeep which is about 17% 2 doorYou act like they’re selling 10 to 1 4 dr to 2 dr, when the take rate was around a 60/40 split. There’s not a huge gap between them.
Earlier than July. I was week of June 28th originally, and I saw another 2 Dr fellow slid to Sept 14(?) that was originally scheduled earlier in June than I. How Ford chooses who gets rescheduled between one week and the next, I don’t know. Mine is a pretty basic build, te MIC top was the only constraint…. And I saw a 2 Door delivered in Alberta here just this week. There were a number of 2drs scheduled in July for August builds that were recently pushed back to September and October. Unless I read (and re-read and re-read) the FAQ incorrectly, those scheduled builds are still slated for MY21.
That’s Lightning Blue, it’s an FE only color. Is that a FE? If not, when was your reservation?
To give a bit more perspective, my Oct 1 reservation (at 12:05 am) places me in the 640's on the Granger list.Geno, I reserved a 4 door on Oct. 10th with Granger, and I'm number 774 of over 1000 reservations if that helps answer your question. We're way down the line.
