Don’t think I’ll add this, looks so out of place.

It does, but its been a life saver in the past, that said, smart connect with your phone should negate any problems anyway.

No manual with sasquatch! I am so sad! All I want is a base model with a manual and the sasquatch!

The funny thing is a WIldtrak can't even have a roof rack because it has Sasquatch by default. You know, because the tires are too tall for a roof rack.
My thoughts exactly

I got tired of trying to figure out why everything I thought I knew about the Bronco was kind of wrong. Not really wrong, but kind of.

I went and built my side project for comfort. She's looking better and better.

With no hesitation I can say I am incredibly disappointed. I feel bad for the engineers, they built a hell of a vehicle. But the suits shit the bed with the packaging.

I may be clearing reservation from July for you all.
Coming from a 2 time JKU owner, that thing is hideous. I dont see the appeal ?‍♂

My guess is it has to do with safety testing. The center of mass is higher with Sasquatch, then adding a roof rack and added weight up top (with roof capacity) will make it more likely to roll over and likely not pass safety tests. I'm sure there will be a huge aftermarket for roof racks specifically for the Bronco if you're not concerned with rollover.
It also doesn't allow you to add racks with the 33's if you opt for the 2.7L so I'm inclined to think it's an error. However, if you really can't put a roof rack on a Bronco with the 2.7L and/or SAS, it may be a deal breaker for me.

Seemed fine via phone.
Prices about as expected.

If there was a gripe its that there is a lack of technical info about actual hardware between trim levels.
Disco sway? No clue where.
Lockers? No clue where.
Stand-alone hardware upgrades? Just the size and gears on a tranny.

That being said, did a black diamond and badlands build and was basically where expected on price with minimal options.

Then just being raped by the government on sales tax, some shipping and an 8 month wait for painted roofs.

Black Diamond is looking more appealing, unfortunately.

After building a 4dr BD to what I want, and arriving at $50k which is about what I expected (Squatch/2.7/mid/tow/rock rails), and then building out a 4dr BL to my extreme build and arriving at $57k (Squatch/2.7/lux/tow/rock rails), I’m back to thinking hard about the upgrade, because that BL configuration is roughly $4k less than I expected.

Lux over Mid (12” screen, USB ports, wireless charging and B&O system are biggest appeals) and the Disco are the differences, for roughly $120/month. Hmmm. I know I can swing it, but I don’t really need the upgrade. Might need to consider BL/non-Squatch/2.7/luxe/tow/rock rails as well.

Outside of that, I’m feeling decently reassured picking between those options. Wish a few more things were a la carte, namely the B&O system, and also to see more of the 200 accessories, but whatever. I built out the other trims as well, and I’m most satisfied with BD or BL still; my OBX came out just as expensive as my BL build .
