the disable doo doo doo at startup per the f150 spreadsheet works. not sure if that was different then the key in ignition one

Ok I think I disabled the seatbelt minder, but I have the doors off. When I put the car in drive, without a seatbelt on, chimes go crazy, only display warning is "transmission in park".

Does anybody know if the disable seatbelt minder only works with the doors on? I'll find out when I put the doors back on if I did it right, but figured I'd ask in case someone knows.
What line from the F150 did you use? Looking to update the spreadsheet and see a couple of them which have sounds. Was it one of these?

I can't wait to nuke that from orbit along with the double honk. Having Forscan and no Bronco is like having a hooker and no hotel room...

Don’t mess with anything other than the position and value you are instructed to change. All the rest are superfluous to you (or dangerous to mess with)

So if the spreadsheet says to change the value to xx0x xxxx xx— I understand the xxx’s are the positions and those values are not to be changed. But I don’t understand what the “-“ denote. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Example:
Value in ForScan: 0020 a5b6 0010 a1bc
Spreadsheet says change: xx0x xxxx xxxx xx—

Does that mean: 0000 a5b6 0010 a1
Or
0000 a5b6 0010 a100
Or
0000 a5b6 0010 a1bc

see the confusion?

I’m not looking at the spreadsheet (on my phone) but I’m this case I would expect that the only change you are making is the one denoted - 2nd position of first set gets changed to “2”. Any excess or missing digits are usually variable based on different models or trims that might have more out less digits or positions but do not get changed.
I’ll defer to the pros, but that is how I’ve always read these.

The last 2 digits are a check-sum, so there is no need to mess with those.

for this instance:
xx0x xxxx xxxx xx—

If original value was:
0000 a5b6 0010
you would only change the Red 0. In this instance the value would not need changing since it was already 0 in the original location.

If though your original was:
0010 a5b6 0010 and you change it to 0000 a5b6 00xx, the last two digits would change. Since nothing else changed when you compare original to new, the last 2 digits will be different so we don't want those to be a concern when you update.

I hope this helps.

One other item, as I may not have fully followed your original e-mail.

Lets say you want to change
BodyCM: 726-39-01
The file tells you to make these changes ABxx xxxx xx-- Fog Light Usage = AB: 00=Fog Cornering 01=Fog DRL 02=Fog DRL Cornering 03=Fog Only

If the original output was: 0000 a5b6 0010
If you want to Enable Fog when cornering you would update AB to 01. If you want Fog DRL it would be 03.

I hope this helps.

Barely tested it but I have enabled Sport Mode on a Badlands. What's curious is that it shifts to 4A when you enable this. . Also I have only just enabled it, drove 20 feet and then went back inside. It appears to work but I will confirm soon. I do now have all 8 modes in the SDM. I can't confirm the options listed below are guarantees I just compared a VIN for each trim and correlated the factory G.O.A.T. mode choices to the As-Builts. Seeing how Sport Mode was easily enabled I am fairly confident this is the DIY for all 8 modes on any trim.

Add/Change G.O.A.T. Modes in the ABS As-Built

That's awesome! Great find and continue to let us know how this works.
Do you think there is a way to remove a GOAT mode, say ECO, from the list?

Or maybe Sport mode is just renamed Baja mode on the Badlands at the factory 🤷🏻
