I had a similar thought. Either it wasn't going to be ready, or a bean counter decided it shouldn't be offered on our 'peasant Broncos' as a strategy to sell more Raptors.

I like it in the Velocity Blue. And if you add the graphics, it really sets it apart. The build I did was around $73k. If you could actually get it for that price, it doesn't sound too bad given ADM's on others. I'd want a place where I could use it, e.g. desert running. Of course, the mileage is pretty bad.

I would love one of these, but I really want a two-door. I also really want a manual, but I'd be willing to give that up.

I'll get as close to the Raptor version as I can without the extra doors.

Yep, that may plan with the Wildtrak!!! Just wish they would hurry up with hacking the ECU and lock in the 2.7 upgrades...

Everything Ford Performance comes at a premium. It’s only worth twice the price as a basesquatch today, in 5 years it will be worth more than that.

Even if it wasn’t standard fare OEMs still so this to drum up more excitement for a new product. Might not get them today but at a time when they’re more available.

I agree. I had mine built for my needs, not the next owner's, or as an investment. Strange times right now, instead of depreciating by 1/3 after driving mine off the lot, it has appreciated by 1/3rd. For my needs, I built an Appalachian snow runner.

Same debate that has been going on since my day 1 on this board. We build what suits our needs. If your need is to have an appreciating asset, a Braptor put in the barn with <100 miles on it will be a sound investment. My need is to be secure in the idea that my vehicle is able to get me home in 2' of snow. Some of us are rock climbers and the sway bar disconnect is what they need, no problem, not climbing rocks, don't need it for myself...

After selling my Jeep gladiator back in November to autonation ford I told the dealer "I cant wait to order the bronco". Fast forward, I picked up another wrangler rubicon a few weeks ago. As a Ford shareholder I am beyond mad that I wasnt able to order a Bronco at MSRP. It was 10k over to even order one! The revenue we lost is unthinkable not to mention customers trust in those who've been waiting. Im a fair man & are willing to give ford another chance to redeem themselves. One way is to introduce the PREDATOR RAPTOR BRONCO ..

Oh yea! I can't wait to see all the Bronco's with "Raptor Style" grilles.

I’ve come to the realization that the reason knock-off Raptor style grilles look so bad is as follows:

1. It is not authentic.

2. It’s a cheap interpretation of the real thing.

3. Non-car enthusiasts will not care about the grille, while real car enthusiasts will instantly notice it as being phony.

You can drive a base program vehicle and still make a tasteful statement with the styling, but slapping on a fake Raptor grille just looks cheesy IMO.
