Would that part work with a high package (no heated steering wheel), just with the heated wheel button being non functional? As best as I can tell, the part number should be M2DZ-19980-D, at least for vehicles with heated steering wheels and rear defroster on the hardtop. It's not inexpensive.
Wish I had looked at mine to see what the non-temp-display model part number was when I had it apart to install the auto start stop eliminator.
I'd imagine so. Either just one less connector to plug in, or the bigger harness just has some unused pins.Would that part work with a high package (no heated steering wheel), just with the heated wheel button being non functional?
I apologize if this has already been answered on this thread earlier, but are any FORSCAN tweaks needed or is this a plug and play thing?I'd imagine so. Either just one less connector to plug in, or the bigger harness just has some unused pins.
You'll have to update the poll for MY23 here in a few months!Anyone noticing that the MY22 Broncos are missing the temperature on the knob? Shoutout to @BroncoBoi for finding this.
Versus MY2021 for reference
Temperature display now appears at the top of the infotainment touchscreen display.
That one is a little out of my depth. If I was a betting man I'd say no FORSCAN needed, to my knowledge there was not a change to the wiring harnesses themselves between the model years nor have I seen MY specific harnesses in the parts pages. The output of that info from the HVAC system is still there, just only displayed on the sync screen for MY22.I apologize if this has already been answered on this thread earlier, but are any FORSCAN tweaks needed or is this a plug and play thing?
I honestly can't see Ford adding that functionality back in, but we won't know till someone takes delivery of a MY23.Does the temp show on the knobs for MY23?
