I was never a fan either, but if done right, it might work. I wouldn’t mind if the 6G had been a bit smaller too.
A little smaller, lighter and simpler, there's a lot of tech, but almost the same size inside after reducing tech and weight.

That would have been a true "Bronco Sport" The reason it's not is four doors in this size will sell way more than two doors; but two doors, especially with a manual option would way more fun; GTI for off road. Coupes and two door hatchbacks are fun, but four doors sell more and crash testing and platform sharing are making the two doors go away.
