Going from 33 to 35 in on a 2D Badlands (non Sasquatch), after a 4in lift.

Do I need to upgrade the tailgate and spare tire mount? Thinking no because it could have come with 35s if I got the Sasquatch.

thoughts - Thanks

I did the same and tire fit fine. The 3rd brake light does touch the tire but didnā€™t seem to be too much interference.

I have the GY 315/70 so if you go with a larger diameter then may start to create a problem.

You should be perfectly fine. Good luck!

I went with the Hammerbilt tailgate reinforcement just to be safe. Also have the RC light extension. Iā€™m probably going to take that off soon and do the break light in the spare tire for better visibility out the back window.

Those tailgate reinforcements are ugly and totally unnecessary
ā€˜you will need to trim the rubber bumpers about 1/4 inch

I went from a base Base to a 35x11.5-17 on a 17x8.5 +35mm wheel.
As stated above, just barely kisses the brake light, seats against the door bumpers like it was made for it.

Nope. I did put 1.5ā€ hub centric wheel spacers to clear the suspension bits and plan to do a 1.5ā€ front level this winter. Run some pretty good trails without any rub issues.

Going to go with this. I like the look of it. Looks like you needed to black out the bolts?

Yeah I did. I would call Hammerbilt before you order to see if they have the black hardware. I colored the bolts and figured I would go back at some point and change them out (I wasn't patient enough to wait :))

How is the HB holding up? Rust etc? Also how is the black hardware doing? Pain pen used?

HB has held up very well with no issues. I haven't noticed any rusting but have to admit that I haven't done a detailed inspection either. (nor have I bolted anything to the accessory bracket)

I used a permanent marker to color the bolts and it's actually lasted just fine...but my bronco doesn't sit out in the weather full time. If you use a permanent or paint marker, just make sure you color the bolt heads before installing, then you can touch up after. Once installed, it's impossible to color some of them 360 degrees.
