That sounds like a pretty solid deal. And as you mentioned, the strike is totally real. I read this morning it sounds like the UAW are going to have targeted strikes at pickup/SUV component plants so that Ford can't run their most profitable plants (I.E. Michigan Assembly Plant), and not having to pay out money out of their strike funds, since Ford will likely just lay off the workers and pay them unemployment instead. If that plays out, MAP could be out of production for a while. Will keep you updated. The Bronco at the dealer has lux, wildtrak graphic, modular bumper. The one we ordered has side rails and door code which this one doesn’t have which also isn’t a big expense but if they were to throw that in that would be awesome. in all with the z plan it’s a $4.7k difference. I am wondering if the dealer vehicle has a model transition number I can use. That would almost even it out. The vehicle was ordered by the manager at the store who no longer wants it
You can always buy this one, and when the plant shuts down it will most likely put a strain once again on the Bronco market, maybe pushing used prices up a bit for a little while. When they get back rolling on production and finish your order, you can sell if you decide you still want it. It has some risk, but gets you in a Bronco that's really close to what you want.
Disclaimer: I have a really crappy crystal ball. It hasn't worked on any of my lottery tickets. Trust at your own risk haha
