Another week, another delay.

If you've already taken delivery of a Bronco, hold on to it, it is going to be a collectors item. At the rate FORD is going the MY'21 Bronco might be one of the rarest vehicles ever produced!

My two biggest concerns when the first announced the return of the Bronco.

1. Don't let it drive like a Jeep.
2. Don't botch the launch.

Well, they actually made the 2020 Explorer launch look smooth as silk.:ROFLMAO:
And I own a 2020 ST. That was a total shit show.

No doubt. When my 5W RV arrived at the dealer I hired a private RV inspector to go over it so that I could make the dealer fix any of the typical poor quality RV BS before I would sign on it. I'm seriously wondering if there is someone that can do that on a car given the shitshow Bronco quality is appearing to be.
If you lived closer to IN I’d take a look at it for you N/C. I don’t work for Ford but I do work for another auto maker and I’m a real prick for qc.

I have yet to find an actual answer to this, but since this thread is 17 pages deep, maybe someone will chime in who is “in the know” - Do Canadian customers follow the same “Thursday” scheduling as our American friends do?

Since we don’t get email notifications, nor any info on our Ford.ca account, it’s challenging to find an answer to this question. Dealerships seem to notify customers here any day of the week, but that could simply be due to what day of the week they check their system/contact customers.

Imagine being ON this forum and realizing FORD has know idea what is happening with my Bronco stranded at MAP for 32 days and counting…with no end in sight!

Oh…Levine said “quality checks”!

I fully expect to, someday, receive the most QA checked vehicle 🚗 known to man!
how did you find that out? i think mine may be the same but i'm not sure how to check.

I pre-ordered a 2022 RS3. Looks like i'll be getting that first and they aren't even available to order yet.
Speaking as an RS6 owner after a prolonged struggle in an information vacuum, you act at your own peril holding up Audi as being more responsive than ... anyone ...

STAY PUMPED!!!!
Do you think “Stay Pumped” might have been a typo, and Ford really meant to tell us to “Stay Stumped”……because I’m clueless at this point.

Not much to do at this time other than laugh. Complete failed launch on Ford’s part. Glad this is a vehicle for my son when he get’s his license in a couple years. I feel for the folks that are needing their Bronco now.
I suspect very few people NEED a Bronco right now. Want and need are two very different things.

The explorer launch cost the CEO of Ford his job.

I want heads to roll much higher up the chain of command. The failures of the Explorer launch should have been in the minds of any top executive at Ford. Covid-19 is not a legitimate excuse in my mind because they launched the vehicle months AFTER the onset of Covid. If you make the decision to not delay the launch then you can't use Covid as an excuse afterwards. Having just-in-time supply chains is fine for established products in normal conditions, but at a new product launch you need to have a robust supply of parts. To have component constraints from day one of production is a sign of incredible incompetence. To not have your contractors at full component production months before the start of production of vehicles to ensure a steady supply and work out kinks is a sign of incompetence. You don't streamline your supply chain until after your production lines are fully up and running.

This is will be a case study in business schools in the future of just about every way you can fubar a product launch.

The back is sexy but the front is hideous

The back wants to be some kind of retro 60s muscle car and the front wants to be one of those cutesy Japanese micro cars.

Still who the f*** cares if its fast?

Bryan Cranston told me that I "need" a Bronco that night back in July of 2020.

And I've never had any reason to doubt him before.
