They could still blame a lot of this on Hackett since he was still running things until October of last year. Maybe he was all-in on approving the Webasto deal? Have we checked his stock holdings? The explorer launch cost the CEO of Ford his job.
isnt there a Titanic line in here some where about full speed ahead

An then you will drop the key fob in the ocean...By the time we all get out Broncos: “It’s been 84 years since I reserved my Bronco!”
I got mine yesterday! Woohoo! You still can't drive it home but could make one hell of a big paper airplane!Well sure it’s bad news but at least I’ll get a cool poster and sticker soon…right ? right???
Is that a waver? I think I detect a waver.. Hey Ford, you better get your stuff together quickly. You have even got the Gentleman jumping a little snarky…Just a glass half full observation, but with the red letters indicating this is tentative and could change, is that probably on the snowball in hell probability level?
How did Ford not know this prior to going into production. It amazes me they screwed the pooch this bad on something so basic as QC'ing the tops and making sure Webasto was ready to go "full speed"Webasto is struggling to produce the hard tops and it sounds like a good Number of the ones they have already produced are not good.
I have a funny feeling that a large number of MIC they have on hand are being used for the purgatory broncos. If the line is wide open this week, it is probably cranking out a ton of 4D softies - hopefully for customer orders.Webasto is struggling to produce the hard tops and it sounds like a good Number of the ones they have already produced are not good.
Related, VW launched the id.4 a few months back, and they're already making deliveries. they don't seem to have commodity constraints....I pre-ordered a 2022 RS3. Looks like i'll be getting that first and they aren't even available to order yet.
