I will be the first to admit it. My 24 WT is a mall crawler. Its just too damn pretty to get dirty. I wash it once a week whether it needs it or not...LOL. The underside literally looks like it came off the line yesterday. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm very hesitant to take it off roading.

Breaking that seal and getting the entire underside filthy plus the rest of the truck - makes me a bit uncomfortable. Especially considering how much this damn thing was lol. Lets hear from some more mall crawlers, let us know why you don't/wont offroad yours.

I was just thinking about this the other day regarding my JL Rubi. Arguably the most capable of the five Wranglers I've owned over 25+ years, yet has seen the least (i.e. none) real off roading compared to the rest.

I primarily use it as a tractor (pulling small stumps, etc.) more than anything outside driving it to work instead of my F150. And it's less work to keep it cleanish.

Ford Bronco Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"... obligatory starbucks pose

I doubt I can get it across the parking lot without breaking something but it looks good sitting there.

Closest mall to my ranch is three hours away (in Missoula, MT). So, my OBX cannot be a "Mallcrawler" (it was never at the mall). However,......my property is 1100 acres, and I "off-road" almost every day. My nearest asphalt is about 3/4 of a mile away, and the nearest town 20 miles away (20 miles on asphalt).
"Back in a day" I did Moab, I did "Pipeline Road" in AZ, Devil's Punch Bowl, Baja and countless AZ/CA/NV/ID dirt/gravel roads. I guess I had to see back then if my rigs are capable (or better yet, if I have what it takes). Now when I'm approaching my 70th B-day, I don't have anything to prove to myself, or anyone else. I like stuff clean now. I don't like "damaged goods" (objects or women) anymore. My rig is as clean as it can be driving it on my property, and off asphalt for 3/4 mile to my main gate on return from town.

I mainly drive my F350 King Ranch to town to buy horse feed and supplies. If I don't have to load much, I take Bronco (although bugs drive me nuts!).

Come back when you upgrade to deck screws.
Good idea! All the plastics are broke on the back bumper and those dumb 'lil SAS flare caps, I'm impressed they're still there floppn' in the wind.

Have you ever considered adoption? I know a great candidate. It's me.
