Advanced Fiberglass Concepts - Ram Hood Paint cost?

Had a bad storm here a few weeks ago and got a ding on my hood. Thinking I might just get the Advanced Fiberglass Concepts - Ram Hood. Wonder what people are paying to get it painted.

Love mine. Cost $800 to get mine done. Had the hood sent to my installer. That was key so I didn’t have to drive it there. I’d say YOLO and do it!

Expect color to make a difference, a tri-coat paint will cost more also.

That’s crazy cheap!!! I have the ADV heat extractor hood, cost me $2K. The auto body shop where I get all my stuff painted had a real hard time with prep. They couldn’t get the primer to stick, had to repaint the primer multiple times. Love the way it looks, so I’m not complaining.

The Ram Air for my Ranger was $450 to fit and finish. I went with black instead of having to blend the fenders to match the tri-coat Rapid Red color and the truck had the blackout pkg anyway. A Bronco with the clean lines at the fenders should cost no more.

The contrast between the red and black is killer. Beautiful truck!

I had mine done at the dealership with it sent to them. It was less than a 1k.

The hoods are raw and will need to be fitted n edges cleaned up. Most the time is spent prepping the hood for paint.

Also, if you have hood struts. Forget about them. There is no place to mount the strut to the hood.

Can you post a pic of the underside of the hood? This is actually a question I had and I've only seen the top.
