56 4 door

I like the look of both, but I want the increased convenience of the 4 door.

Also I must note that I CONTEMPLATED climbing into the back seat of my buddies Jeep a few weeks ago..... there was NO WAY my fat ass was getting back there!

32 4-Door.

Golf clubs, luggage, dog, kid... paying as much as we are for a less convenient vehicle seems absurd.

If this was a 2nd vehicle, absolutely 2 door, but if this is a main vehicle I can't see why you'd get anything but the most useful

So I’m kind of curious, I’ve been reading this forum for, I don’t know, two or three months, and I’m really surprised there isn’t more 2-Door purchasers.
so I’m just wondering what AGE is of most people buying a
2 door and a 4 -door,
because I think it’s a generational thing now.

When I was a kid you were your father or grandfather if you were driving a four-door. same with my dad! Of course I grew up in a HotRod Family (30’-50’s Cars)
So I was always told that 2 doors is what you want.

Maybe I was brainwashed, or a product of my time, but I always thought the 2 Doors look way better than 4 doors
(as far as proportions and everything)
and all those extra posts and windows!
Especially the vehicle like a Bronco because of the short wheelbase. You have to jack up a four-door way higher in order to have the same clearance.

biggest thing for me is I have the mindset of

2-door Means Freedom
4-Door means Baggage

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that young folks nowadays wanna include their family on a lot of stuff, but I still think Guys need to have their OWN freedom sometimes, and “Girls”Too I guess!!!

So mostly this is just out of curiosity

I’m 52 and I love2doors
What did tou order and how old are you?
Thanks Rick
76 and waiting for my 2-door.

28, 4-door. It's going to be my daily driver. I have two large dogs and love hiking / doing outdoorsy things with them. Plus hauling friends and family around — two door is just simply inconvenient for my lifestyle.

Same reasons for this middle aged buyer! This will be my daily driver, as I need to trade my crew cab truck in to make it happen.

And let's face it...if I was a 'purest', I sure as hell wouldn't be driving a pick-up truck with more than two doors!!

I'm 48 with my daughter going off to college this Fall. It would not have mattered if she was in kindergarten, I would still get a 2 door. OP is correct about this being an age/generational preference. I don't need 4 doors to take #TheVillage I just need 2 doors to take myself!!! (and the wife when she's not with her girlfriends)

34, 4 door

2 kids still in car seats for next several years.

Even with no kids I would probably go 4 door, extra cargo space for all my junk

24 year old. Planning for a 2 door Big Bend.

I much prefer the look of the 2 door and I'm at a point in my life where the 4 door isn't exactly required. Its just me, my girlfriend, and our dog. If/when we decide to expand our family, it wouldn't be for quite a while and at that point I would likely sell it for a 4 door or another practical vehicle. I just wanna enjoy this one while I'm still (kinda) young.

As I've always said, a 4-door Jeep ain't a Jeep and a 4-door Bronco ain't a Bronco!!!
2-door all the way baby and at 67, I'm loving it!!!

A year ago I sold my little 89 wrangler and purchased a Humvee. My two year old has become obsessed with the Humvee and pretty much it is all he talks about. He even named his bear “Drive Humvee”. Obsessed might be an understatement.

Both the wrangler and Humvee were loud, slow and not the safest for the little dude. The wrangler because the rear bench seat and slanted roll bar and the Humvee because it’s ear bleeding loud and he doesn’t like to keep his ear protection on very long.

I’ve recently joined a local off-roaring group but trips to the trails take too long in the Humvee and I really don’t want to being the kids in the Humvee that long. A bronco is a bit more family friendly, superior off-road ability and overall just badass.

I’ll keep the Humvee and this will be my daily driver.

21 and a 4 door
No kids but need room for beach trips and pickin the boys up for golf.
Don’t make sacrifices or choices based on hauling your friends. My dad said it was his biggest regret when he bought an explorer when he was younger.

35 male, wife (29), 2 y/o Golden Retriever, 4d Auto Sass BD MIC top, mid package. Went Four-door so I could bring friends along as well as making it easy for the pup to get in and out of. Pair that with the better storage space and potential for adding an Overlanding kitchen or other built-ins. Not planning on getting a new vehicle for a loooooong time so want to have my options open for additions.

4Dr for us, would have taken the 4Dr regardless. Like the extra room and ease of access. Will be a daily driver + Camping. Also looking forward to Oregon Dunes Trips :)

I don’t think age is as much whether it will be the daily driver. I’m 44, married with kids and a dog and and have a 2 door coming in July (supposedly). It was never a consideration to to with a 4 door, but I’m lucky to have another people mover for the family.

32, married, no children.
2-door because it's my wife's fun car. If we had kids to haul, my Flex fits the bill.
