That's good at least.

Also having that rod end in single shear isn't optimal (as proven by that failed RPG) but not a lot you can do there without welding a tab to the knuckle.
We run them that way on the racecar (other way of course) and the knuckle bends before the stud does...should be fine for offroad. More concerned about keeping mud out of the rack, and those hiems don't like bad weather...snow/salt etc

They show boots on their website.
I guess the Raptor RPG boots also fit Bronco. But still a pain to remove for alignment.

What ever happened to Ford’s upgraded steering rack & tie rod kit they teased us with last year?

Order now. They are hard to get. Maybe 3 months backorder.

Maybe with the assembly line shut down waiting for chips, ford will send some of the rods to dealers that have orders placed 😃

I'd like to see a TRE at the knuckle so you don't have to drill out the taper.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one on this forum that didn't apprentice as a mechanic!

Off topic... Rpg has diff covers.. What is the frigging point of a diff cover? Besides spending money to look different? More capacity?

Sliding down a rock can bend the thinner factory diff cover.
Sliding over a rock can catch the thinner bolt face and tweek enough to lose fluid.
Plus many after market covers have a drain hole as well as the fill hole.
if you drain fluid at short intervals that helps.
I used to want a new cover, but do not think that I will get one.

Nodular iron ones are for rock crawling. They are about as tough as the housing itself. Other ones are pretty much for looks
