with all due respect, it would help to watch a video of the actual water drainage, when stationary and when in motion at speed .... also a video of engine heat escaping won't hurt

otherwise its all just a claim

Sorry I just can't get on board with non functional bolt on plastic trim like that - especially knowing that air intake is above the passengers side headlight. But to each his own.

Pssshhhh...I removed my hood a year ago for instant heat extraction and weight savings. I only put it back on for forum profile pics. John Force better say his prayers.

Now if it was a 4" rise cowl induction hood...

1. As others have already said, this is not "ram air".
2. Ram air in a turbo powered vehicle is basically pointless.
3. If you buy this heat extractor, you've got too much spare cash that could be spent on real performance upgrades instead.

"He's hot with ram induction but it's understood, I got a fuel injected engine sittin' under my hood".

I did spend my spare cash on real performance mods, then got the hood. I don’t see any issues with that?

Heat extraction is a real thing. Now it may not be a “ram air” but a hood allowing heat to escape is worth the $$ (for certain circumstances). Go rock crawl in late spring or early summer and y’all will experience heat soak real quick. On all my Jeeps I’ve modded the hood (genright and poison spyder louvers) to get the heat out and I’ve not looked back.

To be fair the ram air isn’t a ram air either.
To be extra fair, it doesn't have to be hooked up to the intake to be considered ram air, it can be ramming air into the washer fluid reservoir and still technically be considered a ram air hood. I would probably duct it straight to my seat cushion because Ford was adamant that I didn't need seat fans.

While I like a good functional scoop/cowl/shaker I get a chuckle at seeing peel and stick hood scoops especially on a turbo motor.

and is no one going to call out that this is clearly “let’s make a bronco hood that looks like a jeep hood”?

I want a hood with a area removed for a innercooler, then the air can pass through the hood opening and then innercooler and then out the back. this would give room for a trick hidden winch mount as well as keep the innercooler up out of the mud.

additionally the intake turbo hoses will be shorter and likely absorb less heat as well, this means less turbo lag and more power....

then we get offered this useless junk instead.
