It will still try to occasionally connect to my wifeā€™s phone even though Iā€™m in the car and sheā€™s in the house. No matter how calmly I explain to the truck that itā€™s MY Bronco it still misbehaves.
Same Issue!! Lol!
She saysā€¦ Thats because I am the Queen!

OK. I found something that I think can reproduce the problem of CarPlay not connecting. Steps to reproduce. Itā€™d be interesting to see if others can trap this problem too:

1. Get in your bronco. Fire it up. Place your iPhone in the charging bed.
2. Confirm CarPlay connects.
3. Drive somewhere like 5-10mins away.
4. Turn OFF the bronco.
5. Leave the phone inside.
6. Shut the bronco doors. Leave it unlocked.
7. Talk to your friend. Load stuff on the roof. Whatever. Take a 2-3 minute pause.
8. Open the door, fire up the bronco again.
9. Confirm that your iPhone didnā€™t connect.

On the contrary when I drive from A to B. Lock up the bronco. Do stuff. Get back into the bronco later (eg: Like 10/15+ minutes later). Fire up the Bronoco. CarPlay seems to work.

Itā€™s this transient state that seems to get into Trouble. Even stopping and locking in like under 5 minutes.
