Bronco only.

I wouldn't touch Ford with your 10' pole after witnessing this shitshow of a debacle.

Between my husband and I, we’ve had only FoMoCo..and one BMW. The BMW was my choice; my husband has always remained faithful to Ford. 😂

We’ve had 5 F-150’s, 5 mustangs, 1 Lincoln SUV, 1 Edge, 1 Taurus SHO (I forgot about that one 😆) and 3 Broncos (one on order)..plus my one non-Ford, the BMW.

We currently own an ‘84 and ‘19 F-150, a ‘68 Mustang Fastback, and a ‘70 and ‘79 Bronco. Hoping we’ll have, in our possession, that 3rd Bronco within a year. 🙂🤞🏼

We’re in our thirties, so I’m sure we’ll have a lot more Fords to add to that list. 😆 But yeah, Ford family here. 🙋🏻‍♀️

*Edit-In my defense, I opted for the BMW when I had so many issues with my SHO. It was a special order vehicle that took longer to receive than expected. When we got it, Ford had placed a special sticker on the window saying they had chosen to use my car for TESTING! It had around 60 miles when pulled off the trailer. A clip holding the spoiler was broken, so the spoiler was loose. There were electrical issues so the AC stopped working, and the chrome was flaking. It was a total let down by Ford, so I didn’t want to trade it in for another Ford.

My Dad was always a Ford guy, always ordered his F150s with manual trans. I'm not diehard Ford by any means, owned several brands. My first was an 2003 Ford Ranger, loved that little truck. Cheap! Also had a 1966 Mustang with a 289, now our primary vehicle is a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport, but that's only because my in-laws practically gave it to us.

Really miss that Mustang, though.

The only thing I ever liked from Ford growing up was the mustang and even then I liked the older muscle car versions. I lived in the city so I never needed or wanted a pick up truck though I will say when I saw a raptor for the first time I was impressed. I still wouldn't buy one though. I worked at a Lincoln/Mercury dealership when I was younger and I remember thinking Ford cars were some of the more boring cars out there compared to their competitors.

I probably wouldn't have considered the bronco if Toyota released a new 4runner 2 years ago. I remember getting ready to watch the Bronco reveal thinking there's no way this will live up to the hype and then just being floored because it did. I still remember thinking wow that looks good. 35s from the factory with front and rear lockers!

Then there's the roll out. Total botch.

So you're out on the Bronco?
No, I still have an order.
I would likely never buy any other Ford though. The handful of Fords I have owned, other than my '66 Bronco, have been nothing but problems and usually only stick around through the warranty period. The Bronco, if there are issues, will likely also be put out to pasture after the warranty is up.

First and foremost I am a vehicle guy. If I have a mission need, I'll find what's best suited to complete that mission. I'm not one for major modifications either, as I never was one to spend money on a vehicle and then spend more money to change it up. Some minor things if necessary, sure, but I tend to keep them very close to stock. I've owned numerous vehicles in my lifetime, and have run the spectrum of brands. I'm currently sitting in a Jeep Rubicon 4xe typing this.

That said, I've had better results, and the best luck with my Fords. My first new vehicle was a '94 Ranger XLT.... my first Bronco a '73 (wish I still had that one...) several Raptors, several mustangs. You name it. They've served me well. Hoping this one does as well. So far so good!!

You got me. I make some exceptions for defunct brands, which the Suzuki basically is in the US. But there's no current US brand that I would buy other than Ford.

Other than the Bronco and Mustang, I have no use for Ford. That's not a brand smear that's just me saying nothing else they have appeals to me. Make something I like and I'll buy it, no matter who the manufacturer is. Loyalty is for family and friends, not corporations that could give a hoot about you.

Have never owned a Ford. Excited for my Bronco, but given how miserable this experience has been can’t imagine buying any non-Bronco Ford vehicle ever. Ford has destroyed their reputation with me (I realize this is a tired comment on this board).

I'm not really loyal to anything, but my first vehicle was a '91 Bronco. I sold it a few months after I bought my '00 Lightning because I never really drove the Bronco much. After that, I've owned a ton of different brands, from Toyota to GM to Holden (rebadged as a Pontiac) to Honda to Nissan to Jeep to Volkswagen and they've all had their good and bad. I've probably owned more Fords than anything and the only brand I'll never buy again is Toyota. For all the fanbois out there, 2 out of the 3 Toyotas that my family owned were absolute trash.

Man, the Excursion is one of the best vehicles Ford made. Sucks they had to drop them. How did it do with the 7.3? We had an '05 with the 6.0 and it was a tank. The 6.0 scared me a little bit, but it never gave me any issues. I'm a big guy and could fit comfortably in the 3rd row with another guy my size.

There's a lady at my son's school with a MINT 6.0 Limited 4x4. I need to wave her down and tell her to call me if she ever wants to sell it.

I'm a Toyota guy. I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner with 190k that has been FANTASTIC.

But I've done well for myself and I've never had a new vehicle. Quite frankly the new 4Runners feel old and are boring.

Where I'm at (Pittsburgh, PA) the roads are crap. It feels like a 3rd world country. Cars get eaten alive due to the pot holes and divets and debris on the side roads. So I knew I wanted something truck based.

Additionally, we sometimes can get very bad weather. IMO a 4wd vehicle, even if you only need it once or twice per year, it's worth it.

Also in the spring and summer, it can be very nice (like 15 days per year) so a sunroof or removable top is also nice to have.

I started looking at Jeeps but I question their reliability.

Then Ford came out with the Bronco. It literally has everything I want minus "Blue Cruise".

But I absolutely love tech. And I suspect it'll be a while before any sort of autonomous technology will make it to the Bronco. Besides, no other truck based vehicle really even offers that at this point and to be honest it wouldn't be a top priority on my list either.

Basically, the Badlands Lux Bronco checks all of the boxes for me.

Now if only it would arrive, but that's another story.

My very first *new* car was a Ford Escort...from there I only bought Fords until around 2007...Got an Areostar with horrible transmission issues so I stepped away from Ford (Camaro, Blazer, Altima, Elantra, Wrangler). Hubby never did give up on Ford. This is my first Ford since 2007 and it feels good to be back!
