Does anybody have any info on the programming needed within Forscan to disable the auto stop/start. Someone made another post but it's about the physical product.

I did this on my Raptor but since I didn't see any documentation yet for the Broncos I wasn't about to go in there and mess around.

Using the easy menus within Forscan I DID see one area that had the auto start/stop disable ENABLED. I DISABLED it but that didn't seem to do the job.

Wondering if anybody else knows which options (is there more then 1 spot) have to be changed OR what the actual values are when you go in via the advanced mode.

Be nice to have a sticky on this somewhere once it's figured out (I can modify this topic if need be and we'll use it as a sticky once it's verified).

Once the credits are available in HP tuners, I am sure that you can disable it within that program.

I will absolutely look forward to hearing when someone successfully figures out the auto start/stop disable forscan setting as well as turning off the annoying door chime. I was kind of hoping the F150 settings would work on the Bronco, but didn't know how different the Sync 3 would be from our Sync 4. The F150 stuff I see on Forscan's site is all about Sync 3 or lower.

Did you manually disconnect and turn off bronco then turn back on? Did the headlights flash when you hit write?

Page 8 of that other forum has a link to the Beta Forscan software where the guys says it worked for him. Did you try that software?

Im running the latest. The thing is, the 1 spot I saw the start/stop didn't work. So I'm hoping someone has figured out the actual codes to change. On the F150s it was in a few different spots.

I disabled Auto Start Stop through Forscan but it is not a very elegant solution. It "tricks" the system by modifying the "Charging System". So every time I start my vehicle, I get a message on my dash that says, "Charging System Service Soon". I have to manually press OK to get rid of the message.

I wasn't comfortable with this solution because if there is ever is a problem with the charging system, I would not know about it because of the false positive message that I get every time I start the Bronco. So I removed it in the hopes that a better solution will soon be found.

There’s a plug on the negative battery terminal. Just unplug it.
