Is anyone using the BD LP4 lights as their ditch light? The LP4 runs on the bigger side compared to the 360 series 4 inches from Rigid and Diode SS3, so I am worried that it may be too big for installation at that location.

If so, do I need a special mount to mount the LP4, or can I use the one supplied by BD?

Is there any noticeably increased wind noise from the inside of the cabin?

Thanks in advance to anyone who'd like to chime in on this.

I’m running SS5’s in the cowl location on a CNC’d mount I made; while you don’t necessarily need a mount, it shifts the light off to the side to avoid interference with the antenna. No noticeable wind noise, but it does sometimes affect airflow when you spray a ton of washer fluid… it tends to wick onto the mirror cap and up onto the side mirror itself. That being said, I have them aimed more forwards than ditch at the moment. It could all change with a few degrees of rotation

Are you the gentlemen who stopped in earlier today and picked up the LP4 for his Bronco?

If so I guess you know now lol... but if your someone else... yes there is a mount you need to run XL or LP4 on the pillars, which we manufacture here on Long Island under our KR Off-Brand. It's the same design as the Baja Designs mount, only we're able to sell it separate and as part of our own kits now (to save customers money)

I have purchased the LP4 lights with the side blinders and plan on running them on the A-Pillars. Now only if my Bronco will get here...

Yes, I am! I did some research in the morning, then just decided to pick up a pair and find out that way. Installation couldn't be easier... Took 40 minutes at most. Here is the finished product.

Do you offer the LP4 with a custom harness? I am looking to get a pair through you guys but I don't need the KR mounts.

We only include the harness as part of our kit but you can order this harness from us and in the notes state "FOR BAJA DESIGNS LP4"

How do you plan to install the LP4 on your pillar? They require a bracket otherwise the antenna gets in the way.

Cool, I have a pair of brackets from KC I was using with some of their lights I plan to reuse for these.

Curious if the mirror gets in the way of the LP4 side lighting? Or is it high enough to clear it?

Good question. Anyone have a side angle shot to show where the light sits exactly?

It'll clear it. I mean you honestly don't want the side lighting on the INSIDE anyway. That's why we sell IPT covers:

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-lp4-ipt-covers-pair/
Yeah I wasn't going to run them on the inside. My wife scored a set of the Rigid 360's which I wired up BUT I still don't think they're great for the a-pillar placement. There is still some bounce off the hood, something the tighter beam the LP4's will not suffer from. Maybe next year we'll move to the LP4 set up
