And no center console grab handle. I'm, sure aftermarket will have plenty of options 6 months later.
I'm anticipating something better than a grab handle for that spot, thats spot doesn't really make sense for a grab handle to me anyway. Someone joked about a giant cup holder attachment that would actually be awesome - my wife has a 32 oz vacuum insulated water bottle she has to take everywhere and it fits nowhere.

A big factor in my 2 vs 4 door dilemma is the cost. I could technically make the 4 door work financially, but it's still what like $4500+ more than the base 2 door. Like others have said in this post, it would be great to keep it under $30k.

It would've been a no brainer for me if Ford offered the base 4 door with 7sp. However, I can use some of the extra savings for modifications. Only thing I'm considering at time of purchase would be A/T tires in lieu of the A/S that come stock. Would it make sense to buy them through Ford or later on?

Im wondering if the 2.7 7sp will be alot more fun to drive than a 2.3 7sp, also when are we going to see mpg? Thats the biggest factor to help me decide what engine to go with
2.3 should have enough power to move the 2door around

They make that rig in black because it looks fat chick slimming.
Oh no, I would not pay $28500 to drive what looks like a mail truck... Any doubts I had about 16 inch 30s are now gone.

Im pretty sure no one will run those 30s until they shred, base is meant to be built up

Put some new wheels/tires on it and you’ll be fine.

The 2.7 will be auto only with the 10 speed.

What size wheels and tires can be put on the base without having to modify anything?

Cool. I was thinking just going 32" A/T tires.

Been torn between sas or no sas, leaning no sas. Thinking aftermarket wheels and 285 70 17s... i did see that ko2 are also avail in. 285 75 17 which is a 34 inch tire.

Same here. The SAS seems like a great deal if they offer it for that price. Taking a base model manual and throwing some 33's will get you far. I might go that route too. If not I'd take the SAS with the manual and 2.3 if they decide to offer it but if not it will be SAS and the 2.7 auto.
