So I got down the rabbit hole with fog lights. There’s a million combos but what works. I drove the Bronco in driving rain and couldn’t see anything.

I was looking for a-pillar lights and pocket fog lights, people out here were all over the Diode Dynamics and Baja Designs, the high dollar lights. I thought no way I'm going that route. Then I hit a deer one night... Decided I wasn't going to skimp on lights. I went with Diode Dynamics because of the different configurations and great reviews. Now I can see the ditches and beyond, and further down the road.

For rain, snow, fog... go with SAE Yellow fogs.

What strength did you end up going with?

I have the Oracle fog lights. I like them allot! Gets foggy as all heck here and they do a great job in both fog and rain.

Heretic Studio makes some of the best light kits in my opinion. Have their fog kit and planning to order the 40 inch bar eventually.

Just head to our site and check out your options. Our product pages listed some recommended setups

Baja Designs has a lifetime warranty and the best quality housing, also costs the most.

Diode Dynamics is less $$ with an 8 year warranty, but you get a brighter light.

You'd have probably hit that deer anyhow. They are trained kamikaze assassins that know how to attack your car or motorcycle with stealth and lightening precision.

I'm a deer magnet too. Fourth one for me, four different vehicles.

One thing to note about rain/limited visibility is Color Temperature since we've moved to pretty much exclusively LED technology that tends to be cooler color temps (5000+ CCT/K). Cooler CCT lights have a harder time pushing light through wet conditions as cooler spectrum light refracts faster through water molecules (why our sky is blue and why sometimes LED lights seem dim at night through rain). Adding a amber/yellow light helps penetrate through rain as it has a longer wavelength than blue (or cooler) light.

Using a set of SAE amber/yellow lights will help you see better in these condition.

I went with the Bronco Raptor OEM fog lights and the Oracle light bar. These lights are well integrated into the Bronco design.
