95% of people that say this, come from a State that sees snow once every five years.
Not just that but the SAS just rides better overall. I love the BD non SAS but the ride was way more bouncy than my Basesquatch.

Everybody has the SAS though. Yes, it's a bigger look, but they are a dime a dozen. You see them everywhere. What is rare to see are those beautiful black steelies!
I love the look of the steelies on my OBX.

much better than the stock OBX rims.

Best part was getting all 5 rims and tires for $600!

I'm just not a huge fan of the "old school" steelie look. To each their own though.

I'll give you props for admitting that this whole thread is about the look.
The wheels, tires, lift is about the look for me. The biggest question I have is the cloth in the Base vs the vinyl in the BD. Comfort-wise, how big of a difference? If I go vinyl, I would need the heated seats. If I go cloth, not so much.

I would have gotten cloth if offered.

That's the reason why I got the OBX and added the non-sasquatch Badlands suspension to it. I didn't want MGV in the hot southern Texas sun. The OBX has the nicest cloth interior of the Bronco lineup.

I was torn between Base sas and Black Diamond. Base SAS 2.7 MIC Mod Bumper AUX Switches was only like 1400 less than BD non sasquatch with Mid Package 2.7 MIC so i went that route and couldnt be happier. Ill add larger tires later maybe and the badlands takeoff suspenion but the interior of the black diamond sold me on the package plus the mid package goodies. Rear locker is nice. I would probably never use front locker So i didnt didnt feel like i was losing much and gaining a lot more by going BD
same. if you're not serious rock crawling this is perfect. make no mistake, i beat this thing and offroad hard. i'll do some crawling. just not the insane stuff. and to be fair this is my dd too, so i also play the game of practical yet still available to drive. not going to roll this thing and be out a vehicle.

personally, i found a good deal on on some 285s and badlands non-sas coilovers and added them. so minus the locker and 210 front i'm set. really comes down to what you will do with it.

add some takeoff c/o's. it's cheap and worth it.

This is my plan eventually. Looking for badlands takeoff wheels and tires or Rubicon takeoff tires locally to start. Ill wait to find a good deal over buying new.

What I realized at the Bronco Off Roadeo was that without front and rear lockers, capability is greatly reduced. There were multiple situations where lockers were required, even in simple mud/rock situations. Locking the diffs allowed for getting out vs getting stuck.

I would not get a Bronco without lockers, unless you just want a pretty vehicle.
