The long black Cadillac that takes you on your last ride to the cemetery only gets 12 mpg, so live it up while you can!

Specific to the Sasquatch - After all the snippets we've pieced together, Ive been estimating maybe 15 city / 18 (maybe 19) highway (real world) for the sasquatch. I think Ford will do everything to have advertised highway MPG with a 2 in front of it for the sasquatch. Such as 20 or 21 mpg highway. Although, i think it may be a tricky to get real world given aerodynamics and 35s (like a specific bandwidth of MPH on the highway from 60-65 mph for example), which is why I am knocking that down to 18/19 real world. So something to the effect of 16 city / 20 or 21 highway (advertised)....15 city / 18-19 highway (real world). I think the Ford rep in the other thread said 16-17 mixed with highway driving, so that feels right. And for non sasquatch maybe add 2 to both. Which again is consistent with what weā€™ve seen at 18-19 mixed on non sas.

Collectively the non-sas and sas fall within that expedition range.

Just my own opinion...
Thats the exact mileage I been getting on my Ford Flex's for years with AWD and the 3.5L ecoboost. Sticker claims 16 city 22 highway, get 15-18 in the city and 20-22 on the highway. My Flex is a brick in styling like the bronco, and vehicle weight should be close.

I'm lucky if anything I own gets 12 daily driving (mostly city, very heavy foot), it's not a factor in purchasing for me. They all get respectable highway mpg 14-20 for what they are.

I know the 2.7 will get better than 8 mpg my V10 Excursion does lol, I used to daily drive that thing 10k miles a year at 4.75/Gal prices.

Iā€™m turning 50. Iā€™ve been working in an office since my 20s. Iā€™ve been riding mass transit for school or work since 1994.

IDGAF what is the MPG on this thing. Imma ride off into the sunset on the weekends playing Bluesy rock and rockinā€™ blues, guzzling gas during the day and drinking whiskey in the evening.

If you need to complain about MPG, you could always just walk... ;)

A Bronco specialist did an AMA on reddit. I asked him about mpg. Nothing official released yet, but he heard that it's comparable to an Expedition.

That, to me, is satisfactory considering the size
He didn't distinguish between sas vs. Non sas. I'm going to assume this is for the non sas.

Agree. My wifeā€™s expedition with the 3.5 is close to that. Itā€™s a 17, so I suspect they have been able to squeeze a mile or so more out of it.

I don't know... wasn't there a "Bronco Specialist" that once said the AT transmission came with 2.7L, and "is a steal?"

Your Flex doesnā€™t have 35ā€ tires on it. People are underestimating the impact that makes on gas mileage.

It's better than what I get right now so I'm happy with that.

I don't recall seeing anywhere if it requires premium or not. Anyone with a clue? 2.7 specifically

I assume since it's boosted it does but ya never know.

The numbers in the OP are about what I expected for a non sas.

Totally fine with those

If you look closely at the B6G video with the demonstration of the 12" screen there was a visual of the vehicle gas mileage which showed an avg. 18.9.

It doesn't require premium. HP rating is with premium, so premium for max performance. Others have said they get better fuel mileage with premium, but not sure if that would offset the difference in price.

My current truck requires premium and was hoping the 2.7 Bronco wouldn't. Sounds like I'll still be using premium in the Bronco, but it's nice to know I can use regular (have to check min octane again)
