Well that I agree with. My sticker was 19/31. When I ran the Michelin (Energy savers or whatever they were) I got 27 MPG average (good portion was highway driving, but I have a heavy foot always, so city didn't help ). Now with 213k miles on her and different brand tires, I'm sitting in the 24-25 average. I would NEVER expect to get the full rated highway miles, that's just silly.I’m saying if sticker says 24 you’ll get 19. Sticker is fictitious. Like they’re driving 55mph on salt flats with a wind blowing in the direction they’re going.
My comment earlier was directed at a preposterous comment about something.. I don't even remember, nor do I care to go back and look.
In the end, we appear to agree on something. Works for me.
