I think the size of the Bronco will make up for the lack of torque.
True, the Bronco is tiny/short, especially the 2-door.

It looks imposing though. Makes me miss my 69 F-250. People would always "make way" to let me in.

Yeah, after my 2008 CRV I refuse to drive a gutless wonder.

I was being sarcastic.

I have about 1M driving manuals, probably a good 400K of it in heavy traffic.
And where in the US have you spent most of your time in traffic? I'm doubting LA.

You weren’t asking me but one day a week I do Chicago. Never wished for a slush box.

Washington DC area, known as the "DMV". I worked as a courier in college. Then the DC beltway's notorious top loop Connecticut Ave to Rt. 95. Now in Virginia, Gainesville to Centerville.

Legit enough for you? Lol.
Ha ha, I spent hours in traffic in my 1980 911sc, it was like driving a tractor, but damn I miss that car.

Love my T/A 392 6 speed manual. If and when I get a bronco or wrangler it will probably be a manual.

I traded in the Mustang a couple months ago anticipating that I'd have to suck it up and drive the wife's old car for 6 months while waiting for my bronco. With the recent e-mails that could be a lot longer.

I ordered the Bronco because:
A) I like Fords
B) it has a stick-shift

Therefore the only two vehicles I would consider from Ford are a Mustang or a Bronco.
So who else makes something that isn't a joyless suck to drive?

Mustang
Camero (downside = Chevy)
Challenger

Tacoma
Wrangler (downside = FCA)
Crostrek (underpowered)

I really wish Ford would bring back the notchback styling on the Mustang, I always disliked the fastback. My Last 3 mustangs were all convertibles for this reason. What am I missing? I need to find somthing to drive for a couple years before Ford actually decides to build Broncos.
I'm liking the new 2023 Nissan Z, and it's available with manual transmission.

Honestly at this point I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop for the Bronco, with a significant price increase for 2022, which might send me in a different direction. I'm fortunate to already have a few open top 4x4s, so I would put some work into those if Ford is unable to deliver.

Yeah, we should know the pricing in 3 more weeks. If there is a huge price increase, I'll probably pull the ejection handle and buy a Mustang.

Ford already took my color away from me.
