Not a bad rig. Just needs enlarged for Americans and more power.

I so wish the baby Bronco could have been made simple with a two speed transfer case pretty much exactly like this..
The new 2020 Suzuki

This would have been a much better target for the "yet-to-be-named rugged off-road small utility". It really would have stood out and outperformed the competition. It's not as if Ford needed another CUV ... they literally had to push the Escape out of the spot in Fords model lineup it held for over a decade to make room for it.

Nah. I'd take her just the way she is.
I’m with you, that is one hell of a bargain 4x4.
Has all the basics, low range transfer case and solid axles..
Check out this video where they off road it with a Mercedes G wagon. Hilarious!

The size is good, but the styling is too "cute". Needs a more industrial or off-road look. And, of course, the engine needs to be a lot bigger.

Is that really the best "worst" terrain they can find to test in? We had worse than that in the "FLAT" NJ Pine Barrens
(and took much lesser vehicles through it back in the day).

Id snatch one of those up in a split second if they bought it to the states. My first car was a Samurai, that thing was a tank and would go anywhere...didnt get there fast but was never stopped!
