Has anyone with a MIC Roof been able to successfully figure out what the issue is that is causing the rattle/tapping sound?
Have you been able to get rid of it?

Try this. Made my MIC top completely silent, other than wind noise which is a whole different topic.

Remember to put some on the alignment pins as well. I sprayed it onto a shop towel and wiped everything down to avoid overspray. Left it on a few minutes, wiped any leftover off and away I went.

Come to my house! Instant fix.

We live several miles from pavement and have to drive gravel to get home.
The fine talc like powder from the road seems to lube many things.
It even fixed my F150 dash that the dealer said would have to be removed before they could begin to diagnose it.

Or try the silicone. It is cleaner.

Thank you. Just tried it and took it for a drive, seems to have stopped the tapping sound over the driver seat. Hopefully it lasts awhile. Thanks again.

I've been having this problem too. I ran by Autozone yesterday and grabbed a couple 3/8" rubber end caps for the guide pins. Put them on last night and tested this morning. Zero clicking, popping, etc from the roof on a series of bumpy and unmaintained roads. I've popped the panels on and off several times and the end caps stay in place! Now I just need to trim their length for final fit. Great simple fix for less than $2.

This was what I found as a better solution https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...readed-roof-rattle-tlf-has-reported-on.34014/
