I haven't looked into the cost or weight of chrome plating the front bumper, but I think the bumper is understated enough that it might look pretty sharp -- especially with a white top. White tops with black bumpers don't look right....

You'd have to get the back bumper to match, and maybe do the door handles... but be careful not go overboard, and just do little accents. Don't want it looking like a Hummer2/3. The grill is def way too big to be chrome.

Any photoshop nerds out there want to render some chrome bumpers?

Is it 1976? is this a time warp ; ). Just teasing, as my daughter tells me "you do you Dad", so you do you pitter_patter.

Forgive my ignorance, but the bumpers are plastic with the exception of the Modular bumper, and just the bottom portion of the rear steel bumper.

The rear might look like you're imagining, but I don't think the front Modular bumper chromed is going to achieve what you're looking for.

Absolutely not for me.

I'd love to see it if you end up doing it though!

People are going to mod these things like crazy, I'm excited to see what they come up with. I always appreciate mods no matter what. Even if I wouldn't be caught dead driving it. Can't hate too much on someone making their baby their own

Just my opinion but, if there is a cool way to do it, wait until the aftermarket figures it out. Sending your bumper off to be chromed will be much more expensive than purchasing a knock off. Plus, you’ll be stuck with it.
