I just had my diff fluid changed, front and rear, and when I picked up the Bronco, there was a clunking and shuttering when I took it out of park.
Immediately got the tech and he did a quick drive. Said nothing was wrong.

Drove down the street and I’m hearing slight clunking noise in the front end.

Never did anything like this before.

Anyone experience this? And 4x4 was not engaged. Was in 2H

Was the work done by a Ford dealer? I would not drive it except back to the dealership. Towed if not close. My suspicion would be wrong fluid or not enough.

I suppose it could be a broken front differential mounting bracket but that would be an odd coincidence.

Best case scenario and easily verified by you at home is they didn’t refasten the skid plate properly.
