Difference between Bestop access bimini # 524211 and safari bimini #5242211 ?

Anyone know the difference between bestop access bimini # 524211 and safari bimini #5242211 ? I emailed bestop, chat or calling seems impossible to get through. I'm hoping the access will work with the sunrider top.

As far as I know, Bestop makes two biminis, one is mesh, the other is canvas.

5242011 has zippered access holes for your hard top panel latches.
5242211 is a solid fabric bimini with no access to the hard top panel latches.

Both are the same mesh fabric.

Sad,just sad. Can’t get a answer to a simple question from a manufacturer. Can’t reach them by phone, no response from email sent months ago, take the time to comment but not answer the question. No response to direct message. Guess I’ll have to wait till January or February when it’s not so busy. Unfortunately I already purchased the sunrider.

I know this is an old thread. But I saw this when looking at the differences between the Access and the Safari bimini tops. Super helpful to explain the $100 price difference. When I could not find this answer on the Bestop website!

Anyway, I saw this in the instructions today, and thought I would pass it along. Section 4, Step 1: "If you have a Sunrider you will need to unscrew and lift up rear Halo to install this Bracket."

So it does seem like it will work with the Sunrider. Hope this helps.
