On my 2020 F150 you would disable auto start/stop by disabling the battery charge strategy.
OK, that makes perfect sense. It also makes sense that you'd get a dash light.

I tried with ForScan and ended up enabling a Charging System error. I got the Harness and it was SO easy to install. I can't believe that I wasted all that time researching ForScan to try to avoid spending the $$'s. Now, I CAN have it when I want (like when I drop it off for service) and can leave it disabled most of the time. Also, you don't risk having it reenabled by a software update or reflash at the dealer.

Here is an alternative to the in-dash style ASS eliminator - in mounts in the driver side footwell.
