Appreciate all the info here related to forscan! I was able to make most of the changes expect with auto start stop. It should disabled but it is still doing it.

any tips?

ASS disabling with Forscan is hit or miss and doesn't work for many model years or trim packages, unfortunately. There's a lot of various methods to do it, and seems like every time someone finds a new one, Ford breaks it in a mid-year refresh or a trim package update.

Since ProCal got nerfed, your only real bet now are the aftermarket 3rd party disabling harnesses.

I was fearful of that but thank you for the confirmation!

ProCals don't disable ASS anymore? I'm assuming that if I update my ProCal and reupload my tune that I'd lose that feature, correct?

I’m not sure if you’d lose it, but it has been removed on newer broncos.

Forscan only works to disable ASS on 21/22, won’t work in 23/24

For what’s its worth, mine is 23 and forscan and super chip didn’t work. Seems legit 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's a question I, and others here, have into Ford. There's another thread around here where some of us have put in tickets, since it was very much a feature when we bought ProCal and ~maybe~ has been removed -- but I'm not about to update, find out it's gone, and not be able to go back.

Rumor is it was removed for MY23/24, along with 7MT rev matching.

Didn't work for me either on my '23 7MT, but ProCal did when I installed it last year. Now I"m afraid to update ProCal just in case the rumored update breaks that too.

There were some other MY23's where they were able to get Forscan to work for ASS, but it was spotty - I think even some of the aftermarket harness had an issue with the 7MT models for a while for some reason.

The Forscan change didn't work on my April 2023 build. But yes I recall some earlier 2023 owners might have got it working.

There's...a button on the dash...just push it every time.

I have 24. I could get forscan to disable auto start. But the battery light would stay on. I could not deal with that. So went with the in dash harness method.

On my 2020 F150 you would disable auto start/stop by disabling the battery charge strategy. The charging strategy would turn off the alternator while accelerating or going up a hill. This would save .001 MPG. If you turned it off in forscan auto start/stop would not work. In 2020 that was the F150 "Trick". I don't remember the "Name" for it in forscan. But it is something like adaptive charge or similar. When I did it on my 2024 Bronco Auto start/stop stopped working. But I had a battery light. :(
