I’ve alredy addressed the issues with my service department but thought I’d ask to see if anyone has noticed crazy bad gaps in the hood/fender area?
You can really see it on the pictures below there’s an almost 1/4” “dip” in the middle of the hood on the passenger side where it meets the fender. Also from head on there’s a gap big enough to fit my index finger (again passenger side) between the grill and hood. It’s like a 1/8” on the driver side?
EDIT: Hood replaced under Ford warranty!
The hood was actually here a couple months back but I (along with the shop) was dragging my feet on painting and installing it in hopes of avoiding the salt/sand on the roads right now.
Overall I’m very happy with the results, both fit and finish (pint match). It helps that my dealership happens to use the same shop I do, so I personally know the guys who work there and they’re very good at what they do!
