Someone help me out here: I see all these leveling kits and such to make the vehicle leveled when unloaded. Except when I go camping I easily put 250-300lbs of shit in the cargo area. If I'm mostly overlanding in such a configuration wouldn't i want the rear to ride a little high unloaded?
Yes or you’ll be squatting after you are loaded down with your gear.

You’re spot on and that’s the main reason trucks have a rake designed in. I do the same as far as loading gear for camping etc but with the winch, bumper and skids I lost 3/4” of height on the front end so I’m considering these to get me back closer to stock rake but waiting for the early adopters to post some results of how it’s working out for them.

Got just the front done today and it’s just barely higher than the rear very disappointing really. Also have some kinda clunk going on when I hit bumps on the passenger side I was going to try and figure out what this clunk is but now I’m just going to put the stock springs and my 1.25” collars back on. I didn’t install the coils a Jeep shop did and they kinda halfass installed them because they didn’t know what they were doing

They do have a nice plush ride feels pretty much like stock I just think these are better suited for a lighter 2 door with less armor and weight added to it. Wonder if they even tested these on a 4door, Freaking sucks really.

Got it thank you! Here's my list then of objectives to consider:
  • Adjust ride height for changes in fixed load (loss off ride height due to accessories/mods)
  • Adjust ride height for clearance (hit less rocks)
  • Adjust ride height for increase tire diameter (go over bigger rocks)
  • Improve ride (better gear)
  • Increase travel (more articulation)
I think over time, I just want a smoother ride, and I've not yet added mods that weigh down the vehicle except for the cargo security drawer which is about to come out.

Sorry I’d didn’t any get before measurements but after is 39 7/8" Front and 40 7/8” Rear from the ground to the bottom of fender center of the wheel. Not too bad really I’ll give more of a review next Monday after I get some miles on them and a already planned wheeling trip at Red River Gorge this Sunday.

About an 1" front and rear higher than my stock suspension/modified Bronco

Wow that stance looks GREAT. And you say the ride is identical to SAS? Any negatives you can think of now? Still drives straight? No added noise?

I only have 1.5 miles on it tops with front and rear installed and I’m running with no sway bar but as of right now I’d say it’s just tiny bit softer. I’ll get a alignment next week to be sure everything is in check but it doesn’t drive weird or anything all quiet.

I have manual disconnects that I made and I still need to extend them some and I’ll probably do that Saturday. Just eyeballing it I’d say I need to extend them 1.5" to hit the mark. So I’m just saying I got 1.5" of lift. Lol

I hike the gorge every other Friday. I’d be up to tag along on some trails at Slade soon if you’re going. PM me if you care to.

What did you pay for the install if you don't mind saying..

I am contemplating either buying the real deal spring compressor or paying someone to install the springs on my new Bilsteins.. It just pains me to spend $200 on labor for less than an hours worth of work.

Not sure who you are asking but 4 spring replacements is not less than an hours work. I am paying a few hours of labor for my install plus alignment.

I got quoted $325 for my install. Plus $150 for alignment, which needs to happen either way.

If I bring the springs, new shocks and top hats in off my vehicle... I apologize for not being clear... I was asking @Frankie945

You are much closer to an hour there then yes you are correct! I will end up paying around that 4-500 mark I am sure when it is done today.
