Still having a hard time understanding how water can disappear from a solid bowl shaped piece of silicone.

There is a TSB for the header seal. Unsure if it could be the source of your leak but I know owners observed water leaking out of the airbag covers on the A-Pillars. Worth a look anyway.

Good luck. Sorry you're dealing with this

EDIT: Link to the TSB thread
Either way it’s a shit design with bolts going through it. The water will still find a way, and corkscrew right down those threads into your dashboard area somewhere.

, windshield wipers must be trash, too?
Yes. Yes they are. I hate the windshield wipers and I live in Florida. The fast speed is like high intermittent. Thanks for bringing that up. I was hoping there is a way to get a better motor installed so I can actually see when it rains.

Guy takes bronco through car wash with doors off and all systems go. Puddle of water disappears from dash and cooks the electrical system. 🤷‍♂️

Remember, Ford told us Bronco's were not designed for "extreme humidity".

I just accepted delivery of a 2021 Ford Bronco, with the Black Diamond Trim. I have a serious problem. The MIC 2.0 removable top, that I waited 4months and 6 days for FORD to replace leaked. The leak caused electrical system failure and potentially damaged multiple electrical systems and components. I am attaching A vehicle System Health report I pulled this morning. I did not clear the DTC codes as of yet. I will be sending a copy of this report, to the National Highway Safety Administration along with a formal complaint. I am also going to post my results on this forum.

These hard tops are trash, just stating this fact with all the evidence ends up causing extreme butt hurt in some members for some reason though.
So far my MIC 2.0 seems do be doing fine. The fit and finish are what I would expect and it doesn’t leak even when I use a power washer to clean it. Time will tell if it stays that way. I will add that almost 20 years go my 911 targa glass roof would leak whenever it got wet and that was a much more expensive car.

Many times strange electrical issues are due to a bad ground. Has the ground near the fuse block been checked since it has been reported that many have had issues.

Not implying your diagnosis is incorrect just adding a suggestion.
Seeing as there are so many modules that's aren't communicating at all, it might be something as simple as this. The Bronco would of had to be submerged underwater to see this kinda failure in so many areas.
Did this roof leak at the A-pillars like the other "ABS cover" leak Bronco's? The one they issued a TSB for?

Mine seems good as well... I've noticed some slight intrusion when I get crazy with the power washer though. 🤷

The switch bank in the center of the dash board filled with water from the roof leak. I went to get a rag and the water had disapeared into the dashboard. The next time I started the vehical the electrical system went crazy and displayed 12 error messages. When I pulled the health report All electrical system failures were no logger displayed on the instrument cluster and all systems seem to be operating as normal.
So everything's fine now??

The problem, as far as I can tell is that the water entered through the center seam. It flowed over the auxillary switch bank and filled the hero switches on the dash. It was gone by the time I returned with a rag. The six plastic latches that hold the roof on dont operate smoothly and I believe they are flexing the roof panels.
When you say flexing the panels... Perhaps the panels aren't laying flat where they're s'pose to be? Maybe something is overlapping where it shouldn't be? Pinched or overlapped seal?

Damn, that is disturbing.

As an engineer who has some experience with automotive electronics, all the faults you saw are not necessarily caused by a widespread issue. So there is hope the injury to the systems is localized.

There are data communications buses that enable all this diagnostic stuff and is used to send data back and forth between different systems within the vehicle for control and diagnostic purposes. So, for example, the buss that communicated with the hero switches may have been impaired and it blocked communication with everything else on that buss causing both diagnostic and functional problems. That isn't to say water didn't get into a whole bunch of things, but it could have been just one fault from water interfering with the buss. I suspect this is why it cleared up later.

Scary that the switches could fill with water and then soak in. Hopefully water there dropped down without getting into other things.
